Who are we?

M.I. Cable Technologies, Inc. is a privately held Canadian corporation headquartered in Calgary, Alberta.

From a humble beginning in 1996, MICT has steadily grown into one of the world's leading suppliers of high quality mineral insulated products, mainly used in the temperature measurement field.

Besides being the home of the world famous Stampede and within 90 minutes of Banff National Park, Calgary is well located to serve customers both in North America and overseas. The city of over 1.3 million residents is served by a modern international airport, a major rail terminal, and is within a one day drive of the major US interstates. Shipments via sea are sent either through Vancouver or Montreal.

M.I. Cable Technologies is a supplier of bulk thermoelectric cable to OEM thermocouple manufacturers. Our manufacturing process involves the filling of large diameter tubes with either MgO powder or pre-formed ceramic blocks and matched thermoelectric rods, followed by reduction die drawing and high temperature furnace strand annealing. All of our products meet or exceed the exacting standards demanded by industry worldwide.
